Richard C. Shove, 74
Richard C. Shove, 74, resident of Twin Lakes, passed away April 14, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 7, 1934, in Twin Lakes to Harry A. Shove and Dorthea (Beyer) Shove.
Richard lived all of his life here, and married Arliss Olson in 1954, in Coeur d’Alene. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1958. He was a logger, and worked for Roth Brothers for more than 25 years. Richard was a warm hearted man who looked after his fellow neighbors and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved the outdoors and was known to fall any tree on target.
Richard is survived by his wife, Arliss of Twin Lakes; sons, Darrell Shove of Twin Lakes, and Darin Shove of Athol; daughters, Debra Waddell of Rathdrum, Donna Shove of Athol; his mother, Dora Shove, Twin Lakes; brother Donald Shove, Hayden Lake; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and two aunts.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Shove, who passed away on Sept. 24, 1989; and sister Harriett Bedard in 2007.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene.
