Martha Zeller, 86
Martha Zeller, 86, resident of Plummer, passed away on April 12, 2008, at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born on March 15, 1922, in Pittsburgh to John and Julia Hitcheay.
Martha married Joseph Zeller on June 7, 1941, in Pittsburgh. She moved to Post Falls from Pittsburgh in 1979, and then to Plummer in 2006. Martha was a homemaker whose family was most important to her. She was a member of St. George’s Catholic Church. She painted beautiful landscape picture’s, enjoyed baking, playing the organ, and being on bowling leagues with her husband and friends.
Martha is survived by her husband, Joseph, at the home; sons, William John and Kenneth Karl both of Plummer; daughter, Gloria and (Frank) Granados, Plummer; sister, Lillian Davis, Bradenton, Fla.; three grandchildren: Joseph Zeller III, Pittsburgh, Jeff P. Johns, and Greta L. Johns both of Worley.
She was preceded in death by¬Ý her son, Joe; brother, John Hitcheay, and five sisters.
Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. today, April 15, 2008, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane Street, Post Falls. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at St. George’s Catholic Church, 2004 N. Lucas Street, Post Falls, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
