Jake Finney, a home-schooled student from Post Falls, received a $2,500 National Merit Scholarship, and he qualified to receive a full-tuition scholarship for four years from Washington State University. Finney just received his Associate of Science degree from North Idaho College, along with graduating from high school. He will attend WSU this fall, and has received an athletic scholarship for track and cross-country.
