Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra to present 'Vive la France'

The Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra will present its final concert of the season, "Vive la France," at 7:30 p.m. May 10 and 2 p.m. May 11 at the Kroc Center Theater, 1765 W. Golf Course Road, Coeur d'Alene.

The performance will feature soloist Cole Tutino.

Before the Friday concert, attendees will be invited to immerse themselves in a special pre-concert lecture titled "Dialogues with Danh" starting at 6:30 p.m. The lecture will delve into the theme of "music is the universal language," exploring personal experiences and universal characteristics of music. Judith Pinkerton, drawing from her background attending music conservatory and playing in orchestras in Switzerland, as well as her recent collaboration with a Polish string quartet on a cruise, will share insights on the message, memory and life journey that music conveys.
